I have always maintained that the Party is supreme, and my participation in this process is guided by a sincere desire to serve our people and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of our state within the framework of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In this spirit, I joined my fellow governorship aspirants in an atmosphere of unity, mutual respect, and shared responsibility to deliberate and arrive at a consensus on who, among us, will fly the party’s flag. This collective step underscores our firm belief that the strength of our party lies not in individual ambition, but in our ability to work together in pursuit of a common goal.
I am deeply encouraged by the overwhelming show of maturity, discipline, and loyalty demonstrated by my supporters across the state. Your steadfast commitment to the ideals of our party and your readiness to stand by its decisions reflect the true spirit of the PDP.
As we await the emergence of a consensus candidate, I urge all our supporters to remain steadfast, peaceful, and united, and to fully align with the decision of the Party and its leadership. Our shared objective remains the same, a stronger, more united PDP that offers a credible and people oriented alternative to the electorate.
Together, with one voice and a common purpose, we will continue to advance the cause of our party and work for the progress and prosperity of our state.
