I Am

Our strength is not in standing alone, but in standing united—diverse voices, shared purpose.

My Vision Statement

As an experienced public servant and renowned professor of constitutional law and legislative studies, I strongly believe in the principles of separation of power, accountability, transformative power of quality education, and youth and women empowerment initiatives. I envisioned a Kwara where children of nobody can be somebody through impactful mentorship, availability of human and capital development, and above all, a brighter future for every young Kwaran.

My Priorities

Even as we acknowledge the challenges we face as a community, it is crucial that we effectively address them. I believe our collective efforts should be founded on three core principles:

Real progress can only be achieved when every voice is valued, heard, and listened to. Every citizen, including our leaders, has a role to play in this. We must foster an environment that celebrates diversity and encourages individuals to share their unique perspectives. As Kwarans, I urge you to maintain an open-door policy and stay engaged with anyone who wishes to contribute to the advancement of our beloved Kwara State.

Our young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow; they are the catalysts for change today. We must invest in their development as part of our commitment to Kwara’s future. By providing mentorship, digital skills training, and entrepreneurship opportunities, we can help them lead meaningful lives and contribute positively to their communities. Empowering our youth lays the foundation for a vibrant and thriving Kwara.

Sustainable progress is built on trust—trust between leaders and citizens, trust within institutions, and trust in governance. As Kwarans, we must uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity. We should work to ensure that our leaders are held accountable and that those who represent us are truly dedicated to the welfare of every Kwaran.

I encourage each of us to support and initiate community-led initiatives. The most enduring change starts at the grassroots level, driven by individuals and communities passionate about making a difference.
