PROF. ALI AHMAD CONGRATULATES SHEIKH MUHAMMAD BASHIR DASUKI ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS CHIEF IMAM FULANI OF ILORIN
Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, has congratulated Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki on his appointment as the Chief Imam Fulani of the Ilorin Emirate, describing the appointment as a deserving recognition of his scholarship, exemplary character, and unwavering commitment to the service of Islam and humanity.
Prof. Ahmad described Sheikh Dasuki as a respected Islamic scholar, educator, and community leader whose contributions to religious enlightenment, moral development, and Islamic education have earned him admiration across the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
“It gives me great pleasure to join His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Ilorin Emirate, and the Muslim Ummah in congratulating Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki on this significant appointment,” Prof. Ahmad remarked. “His emergence as Chief Imam Fulani reflects his sound scholarship, humility, integrity, and dedication to the propagation of Islamic teachings.”
