Prof. Ali Ahmad Condoles with Shaikh Abdulrazaq Aduagba over the Passing of His Mother

The passing of the beloved mother of Shaikh Abdulrazaq Aduagba, a distinguished Islamic scholar from Ilorin, has drawn heartfelt sympathy from Prof. Ali Ahmad, a renowned constitutional law scholar and former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly.

In his condolence message, Prof. Ahmad described the loss as “a reminder of the transient nature of life and the eternal bond of the hereafter.” He noted that the late matriarch was not only a mother to Shaikh Aduagba but also a supporter of his noble path in scholarship and devotion to Islam.

“May Allah (SWT) reward her affection, wisdom, and sacrifices in raising a devoted servant of knowledge and faith. I pray that He grants her Jannat al-Firdaws and elevates her status among the righteous, while enveloping Shaikh Aduagba and the entire family in His infinite mercy and comfort. May He ease their grief, increase their patience, and illuminate their hearts with the light of Sabr,” Prof. Ahmad prayed.

Quoting the Qur’an, Prof. Ahmad reminded the bereaved family and the wider Muslim
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

He further prayed: “May Allah unite us all in the gardens of bliss, and may the souls of our departed rest in peace.”
