The Speaker of the 8th Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, has paid tribute to Alhaji AbdulKadir Mahe, the late Chief of Staff to the Kwara state Governor, who passed away on Saturday in Ilorin.
In a condolence statement he personally signed, Professor Ali described the late Chief of Staff as a personal loss, saying he has lost an in-law and perfect elderstatesman.
Professor Ali commiserates with the entire royal family, particularly the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, who have lost an illustrious son and community leader of high repute.
The academia-turned-politician recalls his last encounter with the late Alhaji AbdulKadir Mahe, whose cheerfulness and prayers towards his endeavours would be forever remembered.
He prayed Allah to console the entire royal family, the Ilorin Emirate, and all those affected by his death, asking Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Professor Ali asks Allah to forgive the late Chief of Staff’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him the Highest rank in Aljanatil Fridaus.
