The Speaker of the 8th Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad has congratulated the former Commissioner for Information in the state, Dr. Mahmud Babatunde Ajeigbe (MBA), on his promotion to the rank of Professorship at the Newgate University, Minna, Niger State.
In a congratulatory statement he personally signed on Sunday, Professor Ali described Dr. Ajeigbe as a dependable ally and renowned academic whose passion for scholarship earned him the prestigious Professorship rank in his academic career.
According to a letter of promotion addressed to Dr. Mahmud Babatunde Ajeigbe, the Governing Council of Newgate University, Minna, Niger State, elevated the Offa-born academia to the rank of Proffessor of Business and Management, effective from November 1, 2024.
While expressing his joy over the new feat, the academia-turned-politician attributed Dr. Ajeigbe’s achievement to his resilience, hard work, dedication, and passion for career advancement in academia.
Professor Ali extends his best wishes to Dr. Ajeigbe, praying God Almighty for wisdom, guidance, and strength upon him as he continues to navigate the academic circle.
