Education: Ali Ahmad Foundation awards full scholarship to UniAbuja essaywriter

The Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF) has fulfilled its pledge to reward the winner of Harmony Day Essay Writing Competition, AbdulGaniyu Kaosarat Temitope, with a fully funded educational scholarship.

In a statement on Thursday signed by the Director of Media and Publicity for TAAF, Mujeebat Adewole, the non-governmental organisation extolled the winner of the Harmony Day essay writing contest for showcasing her exceptional brilliance and dedication towards academic excellence.

The Executive Director of TAAF was ably represented by Mr. Abdulwaheed Sulaiman, during a brief presentation of the scholarship award on Thursday in Abuja, the federal capital territory.

Abdulwaheed also acknowledged the efforts of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), University of Abuja chapter for their vibrant celebration of Kwara’s cultural heritage during the recently held 2024 Harmony Day, a gathering aimed at promoting unity and instilling quality leadership in the future generation.

This gesture aligns with the Ali Ahmad Foundation core mandate of contributing to youth development and provide support for talented and motivated individuals, recognising Community Development, Education, Social Services, Skill Acquisition, and Empowerment as a driver of social mobility and economic advancement.

It should be recalled that the founder of the Non-governmental Organisation, Prof. Ali Ahmad had announced the fully funded scholarship and cash gifts to the winner of the essay writing competition.

He also made cash donations to the Runner Ups while featuring as a Special Guest of Honour at the Harmony Day event held in September at the University of Abuja Faculty of Engineering Auditorium.

The winner of the Harmony Day Essay Writing Competition, Ms. Kaosarat is a 200-level Biology student from the University of Abuja and hails from Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In his appreciation note, Ms. Kaosarat, who is the beneficiary of the fully funded scholarship, thanked the founder of the Ali Ahmad Foundation, adding that the scholarship reignite hope and would further motivate her to achieve more resounding feats in future contests.

While assuring the NGOs’ continuous support towards education and nurturing young leaders for the future, Abdulwaheed emphasised that the gesture was a reward for excellence, aiming to and to motivate other exceptional individuals to aspire for greatness.

The presentation was done in the presence of the immediate past NAKSS UniAbuja President, Comrade Folorunsho Muhyideen Issa.
