Ali Ahmad Calls for Unity, Respect for Party Decision After PDP Consensus

Following the announcement of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial consensus candidate, Professor Ali Ahmad held a strategic meeting with his supporters and political associates to discuss the way forward for the party and the future of Kwara State.
In a strong demonstration of leadership and democratic values, Professor Ali Ahmad emphasized that no individual is above the party and that the party’s decision remains supreme and deserving of respect. He urged his followers, friends, and supporters to accept the outcome of the consensus process in good faith, stressing that loyalty to the party and commitment to unity must remain paramount.
He noted that true leadership is not only defined by victory but also by sacrifice, patience, and respect for democratic principles. According to him, the PDP remains one united family, and this critical moment requires every member to work together toward reclaiming Kwara State and delivering purposeful governance to the people.
Professor Ali Ahmad further appealed to his supporters to retain their trust in him, remain steadfast within the party, and continue believing in the collective vision for a better Kwara.
He concluded with a message of hope, assuring supporters that with unity, commitment, and faith in the democratic process, victory and celebration will come in due time.
With PDP in governance, the hope of the good Kwarans shall be restored.
