ALI AHMAD FOUNDATION HOSTS SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES, AWARD ₦2.5M SALLAH SUPPORT
As part of its people-centered educational support programme, the Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF) recently hosted over 100 beneficiaries of its scholarship scheme at an interactive roundtable session aimed at mentorship, guidance, and engagement.
The beneficiaries, who are students from Kwara Central representing both Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial Districts, are among those selected for the foundation’s 80% scholarship and mentorship programme into health-related courses at Oluwabunmi College of Health Science, Osun State.
Speaking on behalf of the male beneficiaries, AbdulFatai Selim expressed heartfelt appreciation to Professor Ali Ahmad and the foundation for the rare opportunity extended to the students. He described the intervention as life-changing and prayed that Allah (SWT) continues to bless and reward Professor Ali Ahmad abundantly for his generosity and unwavering commitment to education and human capital development.
Similarly, speaking on behalf of the female beneficiaries, Abdulfatai Ashiah commended the foundation for investing in the future of young people through the scholarship and mentorship initiative. She also prayed for Professor Ali Ahmad’s continued success, growth, and impactful contributions to society.
In his remarks, former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and Professor of Constitutional Law, Professor Ali Ahmad, appreciated the parents and guardians for their trust and support. He encouraged the students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to academic excellence as they pursue their educational goals.
As part of the Sallah celebration, Professor Ali Ahmad also presented a cash support of ₦2.5 million to the students, further demonstrating his commitment to their welfare and well-being.
Professor Ali Ahmad reassured the beneficiaries of the foundation’s continued support, expressing confidence that the students would emerge as responsible professionals who would contribute meaningfully to society and the development of their communities upon graduation.
The interactive session further provided an avenue for mentorship, counseling, and direct engagement between the students and the foundation, reinforcing the Ali Ahmad Foundation’s vision of empowering young people through quality education, mentorship, and sustainable development initiatives.
