Oloje for Ali Ahmad Backs PDP Unity, Hails Scholarship Support and Past Achievements
Earlier today, representatives of Oloje for Ali Ahmad, led by Alhaji Elega, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Abdulrafiu Abdulrahman, who received them on behalf of Prof. Ali Ahmad.
The meeting was strategic, serving as a reaffirmation of their resolute support for Prof. Ali Ahmad as a committed party leader and a dependable grassroots mobilizer within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The delegation stated that part of what inspired their loyalty to Prof. Ahmad are his laudable antecedents while serving in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly and later as Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, where he left enduring legacies of purposeful leadership.
They also commended his recent scholarship support for 150 indigent Health Science students to the College of Health Science, Alaasan, Osun State — a gesture they described as yet another proof of his passion for education, youth empowerment, and human capital development.
In his remarks while receiving the delegation, Hon. Abdulrafiu Abdulrahman appreciated the visit on behalf of Prof. Ahmad and assured them of his principal’s continued dedication to the collective success of the PDP. He further commended their participation in the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded PDP ward congress and charged them to replicate the same spirit of discipline, unity, and maturity in the forthcoming local government congresses scheduled for Saturday, 21st September, 2025.
The visit ended on a high note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to working hand in hand under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the guidance of Prof. Ali Ahmad, to strengthen the PDP’s presence and ensure victory in 2027.
