PROF. ALI AHMAD URGES OFFA’S YOUNG LEADERS TO RISE BEYOND FRAGMENTATION
Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, was warmly welcomed in Offa as a special guest at the maiden edition of the SAL Eluku OmoAdugbo Annual Symposium, held in collaboration with the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation (ABSF).
Themed “Galvanizing the Economic and Political State of Offa in Contemporary Kwara and Nigeria Political Landscape,” the event brought together scholars, political actors, and grassroots mobilizers. Prof. Mahmud Ajeigbe served as Speaker of the Day.
Prof. Ahmad commended the organizers and urged Offa’s youth to rise above fragmentation and match the town’s rich heritage with unity, intellect, and strategic political action.
As part of the symposium, Prof. Ahmad presented two Indigent Awards—to one outstanding male and one female student of Offa Polytechnic—highlighting his continued support for education and inclusive growth.
