PROF. ALI AHMAD CALLS FOR MASS PARTICIPATION IN PDP MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad , has called on all eligible Kwarans to take full advantage of the PDP Membership Registration and Revalidation Exercise commencing on Saturday, 17th May 2025, across all wards in the state.
Describing the exercise as a pivotal moment in the journey to revive Kwara from stagnation,” Prof. Ahmad reaffirmed his belief in the power of the people to effect genuine change through democratic participation and political readiness.
The opportunity to renew Kwara is finally before us—and it begins with one simple but powerful act: *registration*,” Prof. Ahmad declared. “This is not just about joining a party; it is about stepping forward to reclaim our voice, our values, and our vision for a better Kwara.
He emphasized that the People’s Democratic Party remains the most credible platform to mobilize collective action, offer alternative governance, and restore the hopes of millions of Kwarans disillusioned by unmet promises and deepening hardship.
The future belongs to those who prepare for it today,” Prof. Ahmad said. “This registration is not symbolic—it is strategic. It is how we organize, how we build, and how we win.
He urged all eligible residents to visit their ward registration centers, bring valid identification, and complete the simple registration process, either as new members or in revalidation of existing membership.
Prof. Ahmad further encouraged community leaders, youth groups, and women associations to participate actively in mobilizing grassroots registration, adding that broad-based inclusion is essential for the PDP’s success in the 2027 elections and beyond.
This is the time to close ranks, reconcile differences, and come under one umbrella to restore our state. PDP is open, ready, and willing to accommodate every sincere Kwaran who believes in people-first leadership.
He also called on party officials and field coordinators to ensure transparency, inclusiveness, and fairness in the conduct of the exercise, affirming that the integrity of the process is just as vital as the outcome.
As we begin this phase, let us remind ourselves: this is not about ambition—it is about revival. This is not about politics as usual—it is about purpose
Prof. Ahmad prayed that this exercise would mark a turning point for the party and the people of Kwara, urging all to seize the moment with resolve and unity.
