PROF. ALI AHMAD CELEBRATES ALHAJI ISIAKA OWOLABI (OBA ILU KAN) ON HIS BIRTHDAY
Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, joins family members, political associates, and admirers across Kwara State to celebrate a remarkable leader, Alhaji Isiaka Owolabi, fondly known as Oba Ilu Kan, on the occasion of his birthday today.
Prof. Ahmad described the Kwara Central Senatorial Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a “bold, principled, and brilliant political icon whose voice resonates clearly in defense of truth and justice within the party and beyond.”
“Oba Ilu Kan is one of the few remaining pillars of conscience in our political space. He speaks truth without fear, stands firm without flinching, and leads with uncommon integrity. His one-face character has not only earned him the respect of stakeholders but also the admiration of the grassroots,” Prof. Ahmad stated.
He further noted that Alhaji Owolabi’s commitment to fairness and internal democracy has helped stabilize the PDP in Kwara Central, and his leadership continues to serve as a rallying point for young party loyalists seeking direction and mentorship.
“On this special day, I honor a man who has consistently placed the interest of the party and the people above personal gain. May Almighty Allah grant him more fruitful years in health, wisdom, and unwavering strength,” Prof. Ahmad prayed.
He urged party members and political stakeholders to emulate the values of courage, consistency, and sincerity that Alhaji Owolabi embodies.
