A Time for Courage, Conviction, and Commitment:
Statement by Rt. Hon. Ali Ahmad in Solidarity with Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki
I hereby commend the timely, reassuring and courageous statement released by our leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON, in response to the recent developments within the Delta State Chapter of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Dr. Saraki’s message is more than a reaction—it is a declaration of principled leadership and strategic clarity. A one-party State must be decried by all conscientious Nigerians. His intervention reaffirms his resolute dedication to democratic ideals, party cohesion and the long-term vision of building a formidable political institution grounded in loyalty, integrity, and purpose.
Saraki’s intervention resonates with the generality of the people, as he urges loyal members to rebuild the party with integrity and focus while encouraging defectors to leave. His message for youth and women’s inclusion in the party’s rebirth must particularly be supported.
I join other loyal members of the Party in pledging our commitment to restoring the PDP’s strength and relevance in Kwara State and across Nigeria.
